You've heard of correspondence chess, but have you heard of correspondence darts?

Okay, what I'm talking about here would be an ordinary, standard matchplay leg of darts, but played in a correspondence style (over email, or postal service, that sort of thing - in this particular instance, I'd be recommending email).

I understand that there would be the issue of trust, but I would hope that, in the interests of a fun, fair, leg of darts, we'd be able to trust that each other told the truth about what they scored.

Obviously the two people playing would need to own a dart board.

I'm asking, as I do own a dartboard and I'm rather sick of not having anybody to play with. There's only so may times you can play against yourself.

Would anybody else be interested in trying this?

I doubt it would go well enough but, if it did, I'd also be interested in possibly trying a small tournament (possibly here on Y!A), if enough people were interested.

So, yeah, would anybody like to try this sometime? You've heard of correspondence chess, but have you heard of correspondence darts?
If you want to get around the 'trust' issue, have each person set up a web cam aimed at the dart board. You play live on the webcam and can see each others shots. You've heard of correspondence chess, but have you heard of correspondence darts?
It's an interesting concept, but maybe you need to set a small entry requirement, before you accept players. Ask them this question: If you are following someone in the street and they drop a 拢20 note without noticing it, would you pick it up and hand it back?

All those who answer YES qualify to play honestly. Then it's off to the virtual oche.
