i ordered something from pacsun, i got an email saying it's been shipped. it gave me a fedex tracking number and i looked and it said on there estimated delivery oct. 15 which is saturday.
the email i got said this: Your order will be shipped via FedEx Smart Post and will arrive
via US Postal Service

With Fedex Smartpost, Fedex picks up the package and then delivers it to the local PO distribution center, from there the PO takes over and eventully makes the delivery. And the PO does still deliver on Sat.
