IS THIS SCAM ALSO?"canadian zonal tourist dept." %26lt;touristimmigrantdepartmentcvi鈥?THIS EMAIL SCAM ALSO?
Of course this is a scam. First of all the Canadian Government would never ask for payment in US dollars. In Canada we use our own money, the Canadian dollar. Secondly the Canadian Government would not contact you by email and also any email from the government would have a domain name of @gc.ca never @yahoo, @hotmail, ect. And finally there is no such thing as the Canadian Zonal Tourist Department. To apply to immagrate to Canada or for a visa contact a High Commision, Embassy, or Consulate only, never use a third party."canadian zonal tourist dept." %26lt;touristimmigrantdepartmentcvi鈥?THIS EMAIL SCAM ALSO?
OH yes it is a scam..

anything with a yahoo address that is not just someone is a scam addy

governments never use yahoo addresses"canadian zonal tourist dept." %26lt;touristimmigrantdepartmentcvi鈥?THIS EMAIL SCAM ALSO?
Yes this is a scam. Note the @yahoo address and not an @gc.ca
1. There is no such thing as "canadian zonal tourist department"

2. The department is also not called "tourist immigrant department".

(There is, on the other hand, a department of "Tourism" and a department of "Citizenship and Immigration")

3. They would not use a free webmail service such as Yahoo.ca. A government official will always use a "@gc.ca" e-mail.

4. They would never say "dear participant". They would always address you by your first and last name.

5. They would never type in all-caps. This is considered bad internet etiquette. A governement official would use proper formatting.

5. They would never quote the price of a visa in "U.S. Dollars". They would always quote the price in "Canadian Dollars", and possibly put in brackets a conversion to the local currency of the person with whom they're communicating with.

Incidentally, the fee for a Canadian visa per person is $75 for a single entry visa, $150 for a multiple entry visa or $400 for a family (multiple or single entry).

6. "Gang Yi Wu" is not a Canadian name. Nor is Beijing in Canada. If they wanted you to send something to the local embassy, they would give the address of said embassy. Otherwise, it should be an address in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (the capital of Canada).

7. There is no such thing as "Canadian Airport Immigration Lawyers". This loosely refers to yet another government department called the "Canadian Border Services Agency". It probably employs some lawyers.

8. Multiple grammatical errors. "Immediately you make the payment, you are advice to scan to us the payment receipt", for example.

9. Again with the made-up government departments. "Canadian Immigration Bureau" is yet another non-existant entity.

If you wish to obtain a REAL Canadian visa, you must follow the steps on the official website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply鈥?/a> .
