Strange email from FedEx customer support. Is this spam?
If you have to ask.. then more than likely, it is!!

This email is actually quite popular now, everyone seems to be getting it. Why would you have to pay to get a FedEx package?
From FedEx's website:

FedEx does not request via unsolicited mail or e-mail payment or personal information in return for goods in transit or in FedEx custody.

Definately spam - do not respond and forward it to FedEx security. Your local branch office should have all the necessary contact information.Strange email from FedEx customer support. Is this spam?
It's a scam. Mostly because of the incorrect grammer. FedEx is professional.
This is obviously a scam.
well if you think it's true, contact me afterwards because I have some things I'd like to sell you... they are worth a lot of money but I want to get rid of them so I will sell them to you really cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a scam. A variation on the "lost bank account" scam.

Fedex wouldn't send you an email for delivery - they'd leave a door knocker.

And they wouldn't know the contents of the package.
This is spam and FEDEX would never engage monetary trasactions for any reason. The only time FEDEX would respond to you is if you requested information on a package you sent out for.
