Offensive religious email at work?

***I got this email from a coworker: ***

Christmas stamp" - DON'T BUY THIS ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How ironic is this??!! They don't even believe in Christ and they're getting their own Christmas (or Holiday) stamp?

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military Barracks in Saudi Arabia!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on 9/11/2001!

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!

Now the United States Postal Service REMEMBERS and HONORS the EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class

Holiday postage stamp. Bull!

REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp

***how would you reply? or is it even worth wasting my time?***Offensive religious email at work?
If it really bothers you take it to someone in HR, or your supervisor. The work place is really not the place for that. Wait a minute. I wonder if Y/A is OK though?
Forward it to your HR department, and tell them it is an inappropriate email for an office environment, and most likely an abuse of company resources to not only distribute it, but to disseminate political or religious opinions.Offensive religious email at work?
If you're offended, just take the high road and ignore him. Starting a verbal fight will only escalate the trouble.
I usually reply to these type of right-wing forwards with the truth of the matter from the snopes link about it. This one is old.Offensive religious email at work?
ignore it.....muslims are not to blame for everything that happens to us
Reply remember the crusades....
I won't cause I'm not Muslim. The only stamp I will buy is one with an American Flag on it. God Bless America
I would tell my supervisor that emails at work should be ABOUT work. And this is something that could get the company in trouble, if anyone Muslim worked there even in the future. It proves an atmosphere that is prejudiced. (Religious discrimination lawsuit, anyone?)
That should definitely go to your HR department.
Sue your company and your colleague for big $$. Great money making scheme!
If it came from a person with in your place of work, I would bring it up to your supervisor. If that doesn't work, go the next person up. If that doesn't work, keep going up until you get someone to acknowledge this. This type of email does not belong in the workplace (or anywhere for that matter).
Wow, that's not even just religious, that's hateful. Definitely forward it to HR. In my company if you're caught sending any kind of spam (stupid stories, jokes, etc) you are in trouble. Of course that doesn't include the priests and nuns sending out stuff (the company is Catholic-owned). And our company Christmas party is one of the few that is still called a Christmas party. As a Pagan it doesn't matter to me, but I'm sure some would be jealous.
have to think this one would be a waste of time-unless just maybe in crowded break room or something similar they would happen to bring it up-bringing something like that out in the open seems cut short its life sometimes---smile and enjoy the day
I agree with going to HR about this. The workplace is no place for drivel like this.
People with that much hate at work should be fired. Speak to your boss or HR Dept.
Just send it to the waste basket. What do you really care and why would you waste your time replying or doing anything about it?
The real offense- besides all the caps, is that xtians think they have sole ownership over December.

AND that they feel entitled to send out religious spam stating as such on company time, spam which also quaifies as hate mail.

Do what Deke suggested.
Oh - the nerve of the post office - how dare they acknowledge anything other than christianity.

I think I would make a complaint to your boss about it - that is a highly sectarian email. If anyone at my work (in northern ireland) sent that catholics or protestants they'd probably be fired
Send them an EID card with $50 inside with a note telling them it's a charity donation for them to take anger management classes.
I get quite angry on receiving religious or patriotic junkmail, particularly chain letters which imply that I will suffer dire consequences if I break the chain. And it's even worse when I know that the sender is aware of my adamant views on religion, our police state and the military. Hey, don't get me started... On every occasion, I immediately tell the sender to remove my name from his/her email address list. On a recent occasion, I erroneously hit the "Reply to All" button and am still getting flak for that. And the beat goes on...
If you want to attempt to be heard go to the following website

Its the American Family Association this is basically an internet based protest web site. They are very effective in their work. They literally send out to tens of thousands of people e-mails advising them of the current situatations in our country. and 8 out of 10 times we are able to correct these problems. Give it a try, ive already taken the liberty of e-mailing them about this, so if you do as well theres a better chance they will get them.
Christians.

Remember the bloodshed of the Crusades.

Remember the bloodshed of the Spanish Inquisition.

I could go on.

As long as we have religion death and destruction will continue. Religion itself is offensive to me and millions of others.
Look for Jews in the office. You probably won't be able to stop the nonsense, but you will find a sympathetic listener. We've been there -- done that! My Jewish friend has teemed up with a Muslim in her office (full of Fundies) and they very much enjoy each other's company.

.
This is stupid first all money goes to the US government

next we give jews their own stamps and I personaly think we should do the same for other religons as well. I would recomend hiting the delete key.
