That was the whole email what should i do??Is this email real? (If not where should i report it to?)?
so fake....and i dont know what your supposed to do with this? 100% fake though
It is most certainly fake. For a while, I received emails similar to the one you have described. I tried blocking the email address only to receive more emails all from different email addresses. However, this problem is not an issue for me anymore. That is because I found scambusters.org and I subscribed (it didn't cost me a penny), and that cleared everything up for me. :)Is this email real? (If not where should i report it to?)?
100% Fake

1 - The head of the FBI is not going to communicate with anyone but high level government officials

2 - the FBI would never give away money or get involved in bank transfers

3 - ALL FBI emails are from @fbi.gov

As the others day forward this to the FBIs IC3 division for investigation then delete it
The many grammatical errors and misspellings should tip you off.

It鈥檚 some scam. Very common.

And if you think about it, do you really think they鈥檇 send this lame email when $10 million bucks are involved?

Rule of thumb: When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.Is this email real? (If not where should i report it to?)?
It's full of spelling errors and is obviously a scam. Just ignore it, it isn't worth bothering to report, thousands of these things are being sent around.
Not real forward to IC3 (internet Crime Complaint Center) run by the FBI and the FTC.

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
delete it
IC3.gov (Internet Crime Complaint Center) FBI a redirect to fill out a form to make the complaint on will be shown.
I would look up you local FBI office and report it to them.
Faker then fake.
scam
No, the email is a fake and there are several indicators.

First, The FBI does not initiate any contact with you via email. They would contact you in person.

Second, The FBI is not in the business of forwarding money to people.

Third, The FBI does not ask for money.

Four, official email addresses always end with the entity as the domain. in this case an FBI email would be agentsname@fbi.gov

I would contact your FBI office, while they don't really care about scam e-mails, they do care when someone poses as an FBI agent.

NOTICE: We collect personal information on this site.Email below;?
Sorry, this is a scam. BMW doesn't run any lotteries like this (see the links below for more details)... it's just a variant of advance fee fraud (also know as a 419 scam). First, you (and thousands of other people) get a spam message stating that you won the lottery. If you believe the scammer and reply, he will charge you a fee before your winnings can get to you: in this case, it's probably to pay shipping fees for your "new car". The whole thing is made up just to steal your cash.Email below;?
BMW uses their own domain - not hotmail. It's a fake e-mail. Mark it as spam, delete it, and don't let it bother you again.

How would you know if a email is a scam?a woman sent me an email saying she sent me money through a courier?

    here is her message:

Greetings To You My Dear Friend!!!

I have been waiting for you to contact me for your Confirmable Bank Draft of $800,000.00 United States Dollars, but I did not hear from you since that time.

Then I went and deposited the Draft with COURIER SERVICE, West Africa,I travelled out of the country for a 3 Months Course and I will not come back till end . What you have to do now is to contact the COURIER SERVICE as soon as possible to know when they will deliver your package to you because of the expiring date.

For your information, I have paid for the delivering Charge, Insurance premium and Clearance Certificate Fee of the Cheque showing that it is not a Drug Money or meant to sponsor Terrorist attack in your Country.

The only money you will send to the COURIER SERVICE to deliver your Draft direct to your postal Address in your country is ($210 USD) Dollars only being Security Keeping Fee of the Courier Company so far. Again, don't be deceived by anybody to pay any other money except $210 US Dollars.

I would have paid that but they said no because they don't know when you will contact them and in case of demurrage. You have to contact the COURIER SERVICE now for the delivery of your Draft with this information bellow:

Name Of Courier: FEDEX COURIER COMPANY.

    Email Address: fed_representativeoffice@yahoo.com

    Phone;+234 802 239 4674

Finally, make sure that you reconfirm your Postal address() and Direct telephone number to them again to avoid any mistake on the Delivery and ask them to give you the tracking number to enable you track your package over there and know when it will get to your address.

Below is their payment information which you will use in sending them the Security Keeping Fee.

    Name of sender:

    Address of sender:

    Names Of receiver: Mr.Richard Tunde

Address of receiver:123 kudirat abiola way Portharcourt Nigeria.

    Amount to be sent: $210usd

    M.T.C.N:????

    Text Question: with God?

    Answer: all things are possible

Let me repeat again, try to contact them and also send them the fees as soon as you receive this mail to avoid any further delay. You should also let me know through email as soon as you receive your Draft.

    Yours Faithfully,

    Mrs Alice Jane.

漏 2009How would you know if a email is a scam?a woman sent me an email saying she sent me money through a courier?
Well, of course it is a scam!

First of all, why in the world would a complete stranger want to send you a check for reasons unknown to you, that you are certainly not expecting.

Second, disregarding that fact, any legitimate business that would send you anything, will never ask you to pay a charge or fee of any kind.

There are many other reasons that this screams fake, but FYI, any mention of Nigeria it the biggest tip-off of all for a scam! Now, back to you, why are you opening mail from people you do not know? Opening spam mail alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more.

When an E-mail offer sounds too good to be true, then it is definitely not true.

It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money.

    Do not respond to it.

Report it, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP.

For yahoo, report them here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya鈥?/a>

Choose Fraud as the reason for the violation you're reporting on.

Also, if the E-mail appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.

And for your E-mail safety, remember:

Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.

Never, ever give out your personal information to anyone, for any reason, whether by E-mail, snail mail, phone call, or at your front door.

And do not ever send money, checks or money orders to; or cash checks, money orders for any one - ever.
LOL! Typical Nigerian scam, I can't believe people still fall for this. You send them 210$ they send you nothing, easy money for them. How would you know if a email is a scam?a woman sent me an email saying she sent me money through a courier?
Anything that asks you to send money is a scam. Do not do it.
Just think about it: why would anyone send you $800,000 but make it subject to your paying $210 in fees to get it? It makes no sense.

The turn-of-the-last-century con man known as "The Yellow Kid" once remarked that every single person he ever conned was looking to get something for nothing or to cheat someone else. How would you know if a email is a scam?a woman sent me an email saying she sent me money through a courier?
So you opened an email that says" Greetings to you my Dear Friend?" Do you know this person? Did you ask her to send you email? Do you always open junk that comes from people you don't know? That's the definition of spam: email from people you don't know."

Duuh. Let me correspond with you since you seem to be a believer in this. I have some riverfront property in the Little Sahara in western Oklahoma for sale that you might be interested in. LOL
Right ground rules, guide lines call it what you will.

If you don't know person don't trust!

If they ask for money don't trust!

If they ask for "Any!" details don't trust!

If it seems too good to be true, eg. You have won or there is this great free gift or deal for you. "Don't!" trust, especially if the offer or prize is something you haven't had to do anything for to start with.

What should I do about someone who sent money through the mail??

Ok well I won this contest for best picture and the Most amount of votes from people.

And the first prize was $150 Cash. Well I won the contest and I didn't talk to the guy who was supposed to be giving out the money on the phone. I just emailed him my address and talked to him yesterday and he said he sent it out last week.

Well I looked through my mail and everywhere and haven't seen an envelope with my name on it anywhere!

The thing that bothers me the most is that He sent $150 CASH through the mail when everybody should know you aren't supposed to send cash through the mail, Only Checks.

Well I'm kinda stressed out because he swears on his child's life that he sent it out, But I do not have it. Is there a Possibility that someone in the postal service seen money through the envelope and stole my money? Should i try and call the postal office to see if they have it or just keep looking or insist this guy sends me a Check this time and If the Money showed up later I'd send it backWhat should I do about someone who sent money through the mail??
THAT MONEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT BY REGISTERED MAIL WHERE YOU SIGN FOR IT. ALSO THATS RIDICULOUS IF HE SENT CASH IN AN ENVELOPE. IF HE SAID HE SENT A CHECK HE CAN CANCEL THE CHECK HE SENT AND SEND YOU ANOTHER CHECK.. NO MATTER WHAT WENT ON YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR WINNING $ 150.00 IF HE SENT A MONEY ORDER THERE IS A TRACING NUMBER INVOLVED . I HOPE HE ISNT A CROOK. ! DONT LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS. !What should I do about someone who sent money through the mail??
This just doesn't seem legitimate. Any reputable company would never send cash. I doubt that you will ever see the money. What should I do about someone who sent money through the mail??
    you'll never see that money

you picture will probalby be uploaded to server royalty free all over the place
Your suspicion is correct about the post office crews to might found the money and keep it.second , the issue of been against the law to send cash money in the mail., third, is suspicious that this type of organizers pay out in cash given the fact that they still would have to report such pay out to to our well respect it I.R.S, so the whole thing sounds to dirty...my sugestion, contact this person and ask the prize to be only paid with a check, if arguement develops is your decision to threat with court call even in reality you might no want to waste your time for 150.00 ohh remenber also friend if you get paid w/check you'll be liable for taxation while cash is kind of tax free.
