It is free with an Internet connection, which can be free, to any email address all over the world. It is instant when it goes through correctly.
But, you can only send it to someone with an email address, and not everyone has a computer. Anyone can receive mail, even if they are on the move, at a post office.
It is not nearly as personal though, most people love physical letters from their friends.How email is different from traditional postal service?
u use the comptuer to send out letters, vs hand writting them and place the address of the house and useing s tamp to get it to go where u want it to. also going by snail mail it takes longer as well, and some times it gets bump and it gets returned to the sender. also it takes alot of people to transfer the mail to point A to point B, than just using the computer and the internet.
