Anyone have experience with being interviewed by the postal service?

Here is the email I received and I'm wondering what details I could get about the whole process.

Based on your application for a TE Letter Carrier Position with the Postal Service in .... you are being scheduled for an interview. The interviews will be held on April 5th 2010 at the Main Post Office located at ...... . The interviews will be on ........ at 9:00 AM. You need to arrive early enough to find parking and proceed through security at the entrance to the building. There will be a group discussion before the interview process begins. The interviews will be conducted in the order that the names appear on the interview registration. Applicants need to be prepared to be there until approximately 3:00 depending on how many applicants attend. Please respond as to whether you will be at the interviews or not. There will be no opportunity to reschedule the interview.Anyone have experience with being interviewed by the postal service?
Be on time and make sure you have cleared your day to be there the full 8 hours. Do not park in a metered area requiring you to feed coins. If they asked you to bring your DMV print out make sure it is the correct one. I believe it is the H6, which is the 10 year history. The TE position is a very physical job requiring a lot of lifting and walking. Try to recall experiences you have had that had that required both. If you recently graduated from school and you played any kind of sports mention it during your interview. TEs may be worked anywhere from 2 hours a week to 40+, so stress your reliability and your flexibility on working hours.Anyone have experience with being interviewed by the postal service?
Yes. But that was 10 years ago. :P

It will be just like any other job interview. If you get the job, you better be ready to walk. Most mail carriers will walk an average of 8 to 10 miles a day.
