Body: he post office service is HORRIBLE. I will NO LONGER support them I pay all bills via online or with bill pay also phone payments to.
The post office fees are increase every year for very very bad HORRIBLE SERVICE.They had total of THREE BOXED packages of my stolen after telling them NOT to leave any packages at my apt door.
They also knew all from the start that the packages had no insurance on.
They gave me nothing but excuses and And the RUN AROUND.That's why there was no insurance on it cause I told them not to leave packages at my door.
Also ups %26amp; Fed Ex is cheaper for bigger packages
The post office is cheap for packages under a pound AND MAKE SURE YOU PUT INSURANCE ON IT.

My mail goes to the wrong boxes constantly and I get other people's mail (like credit card statements). They don't pick up mail that should go to the post office.
I have had this complaint for years, and they do NOTHING about it.

Has anyone heard of a usps money order via online?
i am trying to sell an ipod video and somone is trying to purchase it thorught a postal service money order saying i need to send it in 48 hours and then email the tracking numbers to a website whatever it is @ post..i think it is a scam- the emial claims as if it is from the usps services but things are spelled wrong - wtf?!?!Has anyone heard of a usps money order via online?
yes it is a scam. Do not send your item. I deal with ebay and craigslist all day everyday and i get between 3-12 e-mails a day trying to pay with postal money orders. Only take cash for your item and make it local. It might take a little longer to sell it locallly but it will be less stressful in the endHas anyone heard of a usps money order via online?

First class postage times within the UK at Chrismas time?
I've ordered a dress from ebay for a party tomorrow and thought I'd ordered it in good time, foolishly forgetting that at Christmas time the postal service goes insane! I got an email from the seller telling me that she had sent it on Monday...is there any ANY chance that it will come tomorrow? thats four days excluding Monday using first class...will i get lucky or should i go out now and look for a new dress?!First class postage times within the UK at Chrismas time?

Since the average citizen received about 10 pieces of email per day in 1998, the cost to the typical individual would be an additional 50 cents per day, or over $180 dollars per year, above and beyond their regular Internet costs. Note that this would be money paid directly to the U.S. Postal Service for a service they do not even provide. The whole point of the Internet is democracy and non-interference. If the federal government is permitted to tamper with our liberties by adding a surcharge to email, who knows where it will end. You are already paying an exorbitant price for snail mail because of bureacratic efficiency. It currently takes up to 6 days for a letter to be delivered from New York to Buffalo. If the U.S. Postal Service is allowed to tinker with email, it will mark the end of the "free" Internet in the United States. One congressman, Tony Schnell (r) has even suggested a "twenty to forty dollar per month surcharge on all Internet service" above and beyond the government's proposed email charges. Note that most of the major newspapers have ignored the story, the only exception being the Washingtonian which called the idea of email surcharge "a useful concept who's time has come" March 6th 1999 Editorial) Don't sit by and watch your freedoms erode away!

What happens if you can't finish a summer assignment for school by a certain deadline?
I have a summer assignment that needs to be postmarked by 5pm tomorrow (July 27th). I have been constantly working on it and until a few hours ago, I was about 70% done and close to finishing. However, my 1 year old computer completely crashed and my mom and I took it took it to Best Buy. They said they couldn't repair it, so now my project is gone. My mom said she could email my teacher and tell him what happened in hopes that I will be able to email it to him through his email address (not through the postal service). Right now, I am just planning on staying up all night and starting from scratch. What should I do?
